I am an engineer, a wedding-enthusiast, a lover of food, and a wedding photographer based in Seattle, Washington. I’d love to capture your story.

Here is my story…

Growing up in the 90s, my family always carried those film Fujifilm cameras, making sure that we pack multiple rolls of 36-shot films while we’re traveling so we can take ample photos of us in front of touristy spots. Photographs were a privilege.

Then it began the era of digital photography. My dad, with his love of tech gadgets, purchased his very first digital point-and-shoot camera, a Konica Minolta. When I moved away from home to go to university in Singapore, my parents bought me my own point-and-shoot, and later on, a crop-sensor DSLR. And thus my photography experimentation begun.

My first time documenting a special moment was in 2016, when my dear friend Christin got engaged. She asked if I would shoot the engagement photos of her and her fiancé, focusing on how they met and their early dating live in Singapore. I was beyond honored and thrilled. This shoot was so special to me because it sparked my interest in knowing and capturing other people’s love stories. Thank you Christin, for introducing me to this heartfelt experience.

Trained as an engineer, I am always obsessed with structure, formulas, and precision. I tend to strive for perfection, and perfection only comes with continuous learning. Since my very first shot, my technique and style had changed and improved over the years. I strive to keep on learning — watching and imagining, listening and laughing, feeling emotions, as I document your very special moment.

My photography philosophy

All photos are precious. They are a moment in time forever preserved visually for us and the next generations to view. My photography philosophy is photojournalism sprinkled with some moments you want yourself to be remembered as.

I love capturing emotions at their purest forms — unstaged real life moments. I find that these are the moments were emotions are the truest and the most beautiful. At the same time, I also would want to make sure that in your special day, you’d have a set of photos that are staged in a way you want it to be remembered as, akin to writing your own history.

The dream team

On your wedding day, you will have two photographers there to document the day alongside you both. I believe that two perspectives are required to capture the day in its fullest and truest entirety — getting the angles, perspectives, and as much outpourings of emotions among you and your loved ones.

Working alongside myself is David, my second photographer as well as my husband. Here are some snippets of us just being silly and fully ourselves everywhere else. To get a view of us during (your) weddings, you would have to wait for the first hand experience :)

Fun fact about us — we had three wedding festivities:
I. Civil Ceremony at the King County Courthouse in Seattle, WA
II. “The Wedding” in Bali: Holy Matrimony at the Cathedral and Vow Exchange + Reception at Alila Villas Uluwatu
III. Dinner Reception at Canlis in Seattle, WA
Ask us about wedding campaign and wedding planning! Happy to share all the tips we have both as the celebrating couples as well as the photographers!
